Through our work at Crisis we understand the challenges faced by landlords. That’s why we have a dedicated team of professionals from the property sector and front-line homelessness services, on hand to help your tenants and your compliance needs. All at no cost to your business.
Crisis knows that with enough secure, affordable, quality properties for people to rent, thousands of people can avoid falling into homelessness. That’s why we are invested in finding landlords who would benefit from our services, and who will in turn be part of this critical solution to ending homelessness.
We offer a comprehensive range of professional service packages for you as a landlord, which can be viewed below.
If you’d like to find out more about how our free services can benefit you, get in touch with our Landlord Liaison officer, Jo, on 07971 658714 or email Josephine.email@example.com
We’d also like to hear from you if you don’t want to commit right now, but have ideas or suggestions on how we could develop our service for landlords, so please get in touch.
Housing Coach Swansea
I have been working for Crisis as the Housing Coach for the Swansea area for the past 5 years. Prior to this role, I worked for the City & County of Swansea for 15 years or so. I worked at Housing Options as a Homelessness Caseworker and the BAYS Project as Youth Homelessness Caseworker before moving to the Tenancy Support Unit as Senior Facilitator where I developed and managed two schemes; Ex-Offender Resettlement and Private Rented Resettlement. My last role with the City & County of Swansea was as Housing Policy Officer. I wrote policies, conducted housing research & analysis, undertook housing needs assessments for the local Gypsy & Traveller communities and compiled the report that helped suspend the Right to Buy.
Housing Coach Neath & Port Talbot
I have been working in the homeless sector for over ten years. Initially employed by The Wallich as coordinator of the Rough Sleepers Intervention Team delivering an outreach service in Swansea. This role involved delivering humanitarian aid, support and advice to people that are sleeping rough or are vulnerably housed within the City. More recently I have been employed by Crisis for the past four years working as a housing coach in the borough of Neath & Port Talbot.
Having known Jo for a short period of time, she has proven invaluable to me in coordinating activities with the tenants through crisis. During this period, Jo has been enthusiastic and professional in dealing with matters that arise regardless of how challenging or problematic. Having Jo in this role has been a breath of fresh air and provides me with the confidence when taking in tenants through Crisis.
David, Landlord Neath
I had no experience of taking on a tenant who needed the support of a charity like Crisis. I had some concerns of the outcome. But I found the whole process was handled very well by Jo. Keeping me communicated throughout. As a landlord this is important.
John, landlord Swansea
We work with single people who are at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness. This includes people in temporary accommodation and hostels, as well as people sofa surfing and staying in precarious accommodation.

Whether you let directly to private tenants or through us, we cannot guarantee that all tenancies will be problem free. In case of dispute or problems, we can offer tenancy mediation to facilitate agreements that benefit both landlords and tenants. This is the most straightforward way to resolve tenancy disputes and provides the perfect setting for a constructive and facilitated discussion. Our teams are experienced in delivering mediation and can help all parties involved to understand one another’s concerns and to jointly come up with ideas for how to end their ongoing dispute.
We will endeavour to find you a tenant once your property is ready to let and we are satisfied that it meets legal safety standards.

Yes, we can provide you with insurance packages to cover rent, contents, malicious damage and legal expenses. This is available to you at no extra cost to provide you with peace of mind when letting your property to our clients. Of course, we will also ensure that clients put forward are a good match for your property and work closely with you until you are satisfied the tenant is right for you and your property.
