The Big Make Exhibition Launches

On Saturday 10th October, The Big Make launched at the Croydon Urban Room in the Whitgift Centre coinciding with World Homelessness Day. We held a private view for members, makers, donors and supporters to mark the opening and to celebrate everyone that contributed to the work and who supports us at Crisis. Both our Skylight Director, Chris, and Arts for Wellbeing Co-Ordinator, Denise, gave wonderful speeches and people were encouraged to sit and do their own artwork in the space.

The exhibition is now open to the public Tuesday to Saturday* for the next 3 weeks until the 30th October and is free to visit.

You can also book on to any or all 3 of our free workshops run by our Crisis Arts for Wellbeing tutors - sewing, ceramics or art - please click this link to book your space!

The exhibition is a joyful and uplifting showcase of unique pieces created by people impacted by homelessness in Croydon and demonstrates what can be achieved when a community comes together in an effort to end homelessness for good.

*Exhibition is closed on Tuesday 27th October and on workshop days.
