The Felix Project Pathways to Employability course

Our friends at The Felix Project (previously known as FareShare) run a wonderful Pathways to Employability course. They are part of the UK's largest network fighting hunger and food waste. They save good food from going to waste and redistribute it to frontline charities (including Café from Crisis)

Learn all about the logistics of working in a warehouse, food safety AND earn a license to drive a forklift! PPE is provided plus there’s plenty of help with CV writing and interview prep. So if you want to build your confidence and gain practical skills as you prepare for returning to work – this could be for you.

You will also be helping to ensure that thousands of vulnerable people receive surplus food.

3 days per week based in Poplar (E14 7BN) OR Deptford (SE8 5HY), travel and lunch provided for up to 12 weeks.

Interested? Fill out the volunteer application on their website.

And pop an email to volunteer@thefelixproject.org to let them know you’d like to take part in the training programme.

If you’d like support completing the application then get in touch with Esther Gent who can help guide you through the process.
