Crisis are delighted to be partnered with Papa John’s once again this Christmas. For every festive meal deal sold, they’ll be making a donation to Crisis in order to support our vital services at Christmas and throughout the year. In addition, Papa John’s will be supporting our Make It Crisis fundraising campaign by offering vouchers to our top fundraisers.
2020 has been a tough year for many of us. And it’s shown us how much we depend on each other for connection, hope, and support in difficult times. It has also reminded us how essential a safe and secure home is, for our physical and mental wellbeing.
Sadly, this Christmas thousands of people will be alone, forced onto the streets, into sofa surfing, or into a hostel with nowhere to call home and no-one to be with. And many will be experiencing their first homeless Christmas.
With support from partners such as Papa John’s, we’ll be ready to welcome hundreds of guests into accommodation this Christmas, to provide respite, warmth and safety. For many more we’ll ensure they’re not facing homelessness alone. We will be delivering food and Christmas wellbeing packages. Our volunteers will be offering support remotely, befriending those who need us using mobile phones and Zoom.
