This year, the corporate partnerships team were excited to invite companies to join Connect for Crisis, a new, inspiring community benefiting employees and stakeholders while helping to end homelessness.
As part of Connect for Crisis, companies can connect with Crisis members to help them start their journey out of homelessness, and join a network of other businesses who are determined to use their expertise to help end homelessness for good.
In the build up to Christmas, all supporters of Connect for Crisis were featured in a double page thank you spread in the Financial Times, and received a co-branded film featuring Laura, a Crisis member, and her experience of homelessness. We also shared a digital Christmas cracker containing an inspiring message from Crisis members relevant to the area of our work that businesses had chosen to support.
Sharing stories from our members is an important part in ensuring supporters understand the journeys individuals go on to take their first steps out of homelessness. Companies were encouraged to share both the co-branded film and the digital cracker with staff and stakeholders to highlight our joint commitment to ending homelessness.
Connect for Crisis has seen support from both new and existing partners, enabling Crisis to continue to provide support for those facing homelessness this Christmas and throughout next year. This year has shown us how much we depend on each other for connection, hope, and support in difficult times. It has also reminded us how essential a safe and secure home is, for our physical and mental wellbeing, and the kindness and generosity of all of our supporters continues to inspire us here at Crisis
Connect for Crisis supporters will continue to receive updates on the impact of their support throughout the year, through impact reports, email updates, and invitations to webinars with Crisis members and staff.
