Crisis at Christmas wishlist - London

Crisis at Christmas relies on donations from members of the public, community groups and companies to supply the items our guests need. Below is our Wishlist of items we need most urgently.

We can accept donations from Tuesday 4th - Saturday 8th December, and Tuesday 11th - Saturday 15th December, between 10am and 4pm.

Over Christmas volunteers serve delicious meals throughout the day, as well as hot drinks and snacks. All food and drink items must have a ‘use by’ or ‘best before’ date extending past 31st January 2019.


  • Biscuits
  • Crisps and savoury snacks (ideally individual portions)
  • Chocolate and confectionery (ideally individual portions)

People who need a bed over Christmas can stay at our residential centres, where we offer a place to sleep and access to showers.

  • Blankets
  • Towels
  • Winter sleeping bags

Crisis at Christmas has a huge range of entertainment and activities to inspire guests and create a true Christmas atmosphere. Arts and craft can help build self-esteem and provide a chance for self-expression.

  • Colouring pens, pencils
  • Coloured paper/ craft paper
  • Paint – Watercolours and acrylic
  • Paintbrushes

Clothing, shoes and blankets are given out to our homeless guests who need it most. We can only accept new or like new clothing.

  • Winter Jackets and Coats
  • Jeans or warm trousers
  • Warm jumpers
  • Underwear (new only)
  • Warm hats and scarfs
  • Men’s Shoes (Sizes 9-11)

Toiletries are key items to help maintain personal hygiene and give restore someone’s self-confidence

  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste
  • Deodorant (roll-on; no aerosols please)
  • Women's sanitary products

Books provide entertainment for guests, and a chance to relax or expand their knowledge on a particular topic.

  • Fiction or non-fiction in good condition
