If you receive a call from Crisis, or call us to make a donation, it's likely you'll be speaking to someone from one of our partner telephone agencies, Angel and REAL Calling.
We work with these partners to help us provide a high standard of supporter care and ensure we can respond to and speak with supporters as effectively as possible. We carefully select, train, and monitor our fundraising partners, and they are required to follow our instructions, data protection requirements, and the Code of Fundraising Practice.
We know our work would not be possible without the support of people like you. Whether you speak with a member of the Crisis team or one of our fundraising partners, you can expect to be treated with respect, honesty, and professionalism.
How can I tell if it’s Crisis who called?
When you miss a call from us, we want you to know who tried to contact you. If you call back any of the numbers we use, you'll hear an automated message confirming that the call was made on behalf of Crisis.
When we are running a telephone fundraising campaign, we will also publish the telephone numbers being used on this page.
Why are REAL Calling allowed to call me?
Angel and REAL Calling act on behalf of Crisis under formal agreements that allow them to contact supporters for specific purposes, such as thanking supporters, sharing information about our work and discussing opportunities to support Crisis through fundraising activities.
We only contact people where we have a lawful basis to do so. Depending on your relationship with Crisis, this may be because you have given us permission to contact you, or because we have assessed that we have a legitimate interest in contacting you about our work and fundraising activities. For more information about how and why we use your personal information, please read our Privacy Statement.
We do not purchase telephone numbers for fundraising purposes.
Where applicable, we screen telephone numbers against the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) and comply with relevant privacy and marketing laws.
How can I stop receiving calls?
We respect your communication preferences, and you can ask us to stop contacting you by phone at any time.
If you receive a call from Crisis, simply let the caller know that you do not wish to receive telephone calls in future and we will update our records accordingly.
You can also contact us directly:
