Icebreaker Tooting

Join our cold-water challenge at Tooting Bec Lido Icebreaker in 2027. 

Kick off 2027 the best way possible with a cold-water challenge at Tooting Bec Lido Icebreaker.

We're partnering with the UK Cold Water Swimming Championships at one of London's favourite lidos for a unique day of freezing fun. Whether you’ll be facing the freeze for the first time, or regularly swim in winter, everyone is welcome to make a splash and help end homelessness.    

There are two sessions you can join:

• The morning dip at 9am - to kick of the championships!
• The afternoon dip at 1.10pm 

Both sessions will start with a safety briefing. Swim one or two 30m widths with a community of Icebreakers braving the cold together, then enjoy a hot tub, hot drink and the option to watch the rest of the races.  

 The SLSC UK Cold Water Swimming Championships were last on in 2025. More than 800 swimmers from around the globe, were being looked after by over 200 smiling volunteers, and enjoyed freezing races, hot tubs, saunas, cheering, bunting, stalls full of lovely swimmy goodies, bespoke beers and tasty hot food. On top of that, the Crisis Icebreaker’s faced the freeze and raised vital funds to help end homelessness. Expect all of this and more in 2027!
