Shop from Crisis, Hackney opened its doors in October 2015 as the very first Shop from Crisis.

The Hackney shop may be small in size, but is big in personality. The shop has become well established within the local community and reflects the vibrant character of the area. From just one volunteer on opening day to two dozen, Shop from Crisis, Hackney needs you to help end homelessness!

OUR SHOPS:

  • Create jobs and provide training for homeless people to help people find the confidence and skills to rebuild their lives
  • Engage local communities in our mission to end homelessness for good
  • Help fund the vital work of Crisis across the UK

We love volunteers

Volunteering is a great way to get involved with Crisis mission to end homelessness. It’s also a chance to learn something new, develop existing skills and be part of a diverse and vibrant team!

If you would like to volunteer and can spare as little as 6 hours per week, we would love to hear from you.

Trading in the heart of Mare Street, Shop from Crisis, Hackney welcome donations of pre-loved clothing, books, media and electrical items – just drop them into the shop during opening hours.

Due to the boutique size of the shop we are not usually able to accept furniture – but our Finsbury Park shop can!
