Your Christmas questions answered

Our Skylight Centre is located at 1-3 City Road, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE1 2AF

Unfortunately we do not have the capacity to provide transport for volunteers. However, you can use the volunteer community website to arrange lift-shares.

Yes. We are asking that all volunteers attend training this year, regardless of whether you have or not in the past. Due to changes to the running of the event, training has been updated to include new information.

We won't be running Crisis at Christmas from our Skylight Centre this year. Instead we are planning to use Blackfriars @ Ouseburn, New Bridge Street, Newcastle, NE1 2TX

For the training, the easiest car parks to use are either Manor Car Park or the Quayside Car Park. For the Christmas event, street parking is free on 25 December and there are plenty of spaces along City Road and the surrounding streets. The multi-storey car parks next to our Skylight Centre are closed on December 25. On Boxing Day Manors Car Park is open and we have parking permits so please contact a member of our Christmas team if you would like one.
