The role has 2 main functions: 1.Providing administrative support to the EST team primarily around employability and vocational training courses. This will involve promoting courses to clients and Crisis Job Coaches, managing the course referral process, ensuring good attendance at courses and inputting information on outcomes and feedback following courses. 2.supporting the Job Brokerage and Training Executive with preparing for and setting up the Employment Platform and follow up activities. The Employment Platform is an opportunity for our clients to talk to and promote their skills and experience to organisations offering employment, volunteering and training opportunities.
We are looking for a volunteer classroom assistant to help the Carpentry tutor deliver sessions in the workshop. This opportunity would suit someone who is friendly and attentive with an interest in working with others. Experience of woodworking is not essential as training is provided. We need a volunteer who is a quick learner, has patience and good observation skills.

This workshop offers participants the opportunity to learn the skills needed to build their own blog using WordPress. Participants are taught how to write online/ publish their films, photographs and artwork for others to see. The blog offers an easily accessible environment for alternative forms of discourse; it allows people the opportunity to have an online presence outside traditional media forms.
Crisis Skylight South Wales is looking for someone to support the Progression Team as an office and community based volunteer, complementing the day to day work required for supporting homeless clients into employment, training, volunteering, housing, health and wellbeing activities and education.
