Tuesday 11th December - 5pm
Crisis has a number of ways for members to get involved with the services and have their say. We have a monthly Member Forum this is a friendly meeting in the office were members can find out about new areas of work at Crisis, give feedback and contribute new ideas and thoughts on what goes on.
Before Christmas Member Forum asked if we could use a new name to help people understand what the forum does and to attract some new members. The forum came up with a list of possible names and these were put to a vote at our End of Term Event. The winner was ... 'What's In It For Me?' So this term posters and flyers will use this new title. Let us know what you think about this by coming along to the Forum or filling in a comment form found on reception.
Once a year we also have a Member Conference, last year we had a great turn out of members at the Quaker House. We had Steve from National Campaigns team collecting ideas from members on how to end homelessness. We also had small workshops on developing learning clubs and planning the Crisis timetable. The next conference will be in September 2018 keep an eye on this space for more information.
